I started this blog to provide a platform for sports-loving girls, like myself, to have a place where they can talk about sports without being subjected to “that guy” who can never seem to accept that we have a voice, too.

I want to reshape an industry that’s predominately ruled by men. Any sports station you turn on is saturated with men arguing, predicting, and analyzing some game, and it’s time to level out the playing field. There are plenty of beautiful, knowledgable women who can keep up with a man in a sports discussion and this is our place to prove it. Of course, we want guys to jump in on it, too, but we’ve got home field advantage

Though football is my all-time favorite, all other sports will be covered as well, because you can’t be a fan of the team that’s gonna win the 2012 World Series without talking about it once in a while (GO TIGERS). I also asked several sports nut friends of mine to contribute their words, and we have a pretty good variety of interests regarding what sports we watch and which teams we cheer for.

When it comes to sports discussions, I make no apologies. I come with a self-issued warning label that occasionally, I can be downright obnoxious. But, such is the nature of being a fanatic!
